Portland, OR – The Sausage Shack Review

Was feeling a might peckish after getting dropped in downtown post high-roller biz meeting at low rent coffee shop in NE.  Was determined to head straight to Alder pod, but got dropped on Naito, and threw on the foot brakes when I walked past the Sausage Shack. I’d heard about this sausage and bacon wonderland,… Continue reading Portland, OR – The Sausage Shack Review

Portland – Hot Dog Ernie

Ernie apparently plys his trade at local events, today he was at the Mt Tabor fete, hawking dogs, polish and Louisiana red hots. His dogs were Nathan’s skinless, which he kept in a warm bath, moved to a hotter bath when you ordered, and finished with a slight char. Nothing special, but enjoyable. $3.50.
