{"id":8833,"date":"2013-02-26T12:39:40","date_gmt":"2013-02-26T20:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=8833"},"modified":"2013-02-26T12:39:40","modified_gmt":"2013-02-26T20:39:40","slug":"ginos-east-frozen-thin-crust-sausage-pizza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=8833","title":{"rendered":"Gino&#8217;s East Frozen Thin Crust Sausage Pizza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last in a series of Chicago\u2019s local frozen pizzas,\u00a0 up today is Gino\u2019s East Thin Crust Sausage.\u00a0\u00a0 Gino\u2019s is well known for their <a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2013\/01\/ginos-east-chicago-frozen-classic-sausage-patty-deep-dish-pizza\/\">Chicago deep dish<\/a>, (recent review) but can they cut the cheese with a thin crust?<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve previously looked at competing brands<a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2013\/01\/home-cookin-reggios-frozen-pizza\/\">,\u00a0 Home Run Inn and Reggio\u2019s<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2013\/02\/connies-naturals-chicago-frozen-pizza\/\">Connie\u2019s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At $4 bucks on sale for 18 ounces, right away it\u2019s a pretty good value.\u00a0 Baking instructions call for 15- 18 minutes, middle shelf, 425, so we started with 15, and that was sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>This is a seriously thin crust.\u00a0 Cracker or less!\u00a0 (fine with me)<\/p>\n<p>Toppings are ample;\u00a0 I prefer larger sausage pieces than Gino provides.\u00a0 That\u2019s just a personal thing.
