Opening week. \u00a0Do we cut them slack for that, yes, I guess a little. \u00a0Although other reviewer<\/a>s weren’t so inclined.<\/p>\n

Kawika and the Minnesota burger posse were there, and reported in. \u00a0 There were some unhappy campers at that table, much like the Yelp reviewer’s party, our group carped about the ‘so-so’ food and poor value.<\/p>\n

The manager and cook discovered the presence of bloggers and maintained a defensive posture. \u00a0 Bad start, guys.<\/p>\n

The party ordered a couple of burgers, a pretzel and the club. \u00a0Only the club got a “rave”, for both plating and taste.<\/p>\n

There was some concern about the noise level, even tho the main room was only half full. \u00a0There appears to have been to acoustic treatment applied. \u00a0Perhaps in the summer, with a more open atmosphere, that will be better.<\/p>\n

The full menu is online<\/a>, but of course, the local brews are supposed to be the traffic builder, and our party doesn’t imbibe.<\/p>\n

Brews will be seasonable, I am sure, but the initial offering is thus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In all fairness, the party said they would try again in a few weeks, give these guys time to shake it out.<\/p>\n

I think that’s reasonable, and we will report back then.<\/p>\n
