{"id":8024,"date":"2012-10-08T12:41:01","date_gmt":"2012-10-08T19:41:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=8024"},"modified":"2012-10-08T12:41:01","modified_gmt":"2012-10-08T19:41:01","slug":"lake-oswego-game-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=8024","title":{"rendered":"Lake Oswego, OR &#8211; Game Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s no Dave &amp; Busters in Portland. \u00a0Not sure that&#8217;s a drawback, \u00a0as D&amp;B isn&#8217;t exactly family-centric. \u00a0So you&#8217;ve worn out your welcome at Chuck E Cheese, where can you take the entire family for an afternoon\/evening of fun, food, and frolic? \u00a0Or hold a party in a safe and sane atmosphere?<\/p>\n<p>I recommend Game Time, in Lake Oswego. \u00a0I was there for a private event recently, and was blown away by the cleanliness, helpful\/friendly staff, and the &#8216;made from scratch&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.game-time.com\/dining\/pugs-dining\/\">menu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We sampled a lot of the fare, including both a meat and vegetarian pizza, hummus and flat bread, Caesar salad, house-made chips, and both beef and chicken nachos.<\/p>\n<p>Walking in, I had expected standard mediocre bar fare. Not.<\/p>\n<p>Game Time has a wide variety of electronic games, with updated technology that requires no coins, token, nor broken paper ticket dispensers. \u00a0Some are just for fun, some are tests of skill. \u00a0Bowling, too, and sports TV everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous rooms for private parties, and someone suggested it might be a treat for a corporate outing, and I agree.<\/p>\n<p>Get your game on, at Game Time.
