{"id":7124,"date":"2012-03-28T05:44:26","date_gmt":"2012-03-28T12:44:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=7124"},"modified":"2012-03-28T05:44:26","modified_gmt":"2012-03-28T12:44:26","slug":"leonardos-pizza-winco-stores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=7124","title":{"rendered":"Leonardi&#8217;s Pizza &#8211; Inside Winco Stores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wincofoods.com\/\">Winco<\/a> is a low-priced, employee-owned grocery store chain across six states in the West, including multiple locations here in Oregon. \u00a0Inside most of the stores, you&#8217;ll find a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wincofoods.com\/departments\/pizza\/pizza-menu\/\">Leonardi&#8217;s Pizza<\/a>, featuring value-priced take and bake, or baked in the store, pizzas and subs from a counter at the front of the store.<\/p>\n<p>They also sell bargain slices, tantamount to a quarter of a pie for $1.98. \u00a0Elsewhere in Portland, you can buy up to $6 a slice, for a much smaller (and skimpier, in some places) slice o&#8217; pie.<\/p>\n<p>Couple it with a Shasta from the nearby vending machine, and you have a quick meal for about $2.25. \u00a0 Feed yourself or the kids on the long trip home from the market &#8211; tho I always recommend eating BEFORE grocery shopping.<\/p>\n<p>Another fun thing, elsewhere in the store (usually around the cheese case) you can find Leonardo&#8217;s dough balls, if you are really feeling ambitious for the bake at home pizzeria experience.<\/p>\n<p>A slice is a slice, and this one measure up, both in heft and taste. \u00a0It&#8217;s a respectable product, and $8.98 for a large whole pie, you&#8217;d be hard-pressed to find a better pizza value.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/leo1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-7125\" title=\"leo1\" src=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/leo1.png\" alt=\"Winco Leonardo's Pizza\" width=\"389\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winco is a low-priced, employee-owned grocery store chain across six states in the West, including multiple locations here in Oregon. \u00a0Inside most of the stores, you&#8217;ll find a Leonardi&#8217;s Pizza, featuring value-priced take and bake, or baked in the store, pizzas and subs from a counter at the front of the store.
