{"id":5825,"date":"2011-05-17T06:25:13","date_gmt":"2011-05-17T13:25:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=5825"},"modified":"2011-05-17T06:25:13","modified_gmt":"2011-05-17T13:25:13","slug":"nationwide-chain-sbarros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=5825","title":{"rendered":"Nationwide Chain &#8211; Sbarro&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sbarro is the king of mall pizza, arguably.\u00a0 And the chain recently entered voluntary <a href=\"http:\/\/dealbook.nytimes.com\/2011\/04\/04\/sbarro-files-for-bankruptcy\/\">bankruptcy<\/a>.\u00a0 I saw an article recently that called Sbarro &#8220;America&#8217;s least essential restaurant,&#8221; and that may well be true.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I hadn&#8217;t been to one in a long time, but finding myself trapped in a mall the other day, I deciced to try a slice, and $6.88 later, but one slice of sausage\/pepp and a bottle of water, I found myself contemplating the crust.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why the crust?\u00a0 Well, the sausage, and pepperoni (diced, what&#8217;s with that?) were nothing to write home (or here) about; nor was the cheese.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The crust?\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to try and make a pun about &#8220;the crust was to die for,&#8221; but in reality, the crust was so hard, it could kill someone.\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitpic.com\/4ynt3l\">Note the video<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>When you are contemplating your shopping experience, I heartily recommend you limit yourselves to malls with <a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2011\/03\/nationwide-villa-pizza\/\">Villa Pizza<\/a> outlets.\u00a0 A vastly superior product.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/sbarro1-png.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5828\" title=\"sbarro1 png\" src=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/sbarro1-png.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a>&lt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sbarro is the king of mall pizza, arguably.\u00a0 And the chain recently entered voluntary bankruptcy.\u00a0 I saw an article recently that called Sbarro &#8220;America&#8217;s least essential restaurant,&#8221; and that may well be true.
