Minnesota Burger Reporter Kawikamedia and his Burger Posse checked out Va Bene<\/span><\/span><\/a> during one of Duluth’s Eat Downtown<\/a>\u00a0promotions.\u00a0\u00a0 Va Bene<\/span> focuses on Italian home cooking, fresh <\/span>ingredients, and delicacies imported from Italy; it recently celebrated its 5th<\/span> annivesary<\/span>.\u00a0 In addition to dine in, take-away, they also carry a select line of Italian groceries.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The special lunch promotion included a choice of Italian Sausage soup or salad, and Fettuccine Carbonara<\/span>, and gelato<\/span> to finish.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

His review?\u00a0 “Out of this world!”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fettuccine is prepared with<\/span> pancetta<\/span><\/a>, peas, egg, and parmesan<\/span>.\u00a0 He also took home one of their very special burgers, a 6 oz patty with<\/span> pancetta<\/span>, portabellas<\/span>, onions, mozzarella and gorgonzola<\/a><\/span> in a balsamic reduction, which just sounds fascinating, and Kawikamedia<\/span> says it was to die for.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(In BurgerDogBoy’s<\/span> playbook, any burger that has pancetta<\/span> and gorgonzola<\/span> is going to be cause to walk over broken glass to consume; looks like a trip to Duluth<\/span> is in order!).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Va Bene<\/span> is open for lunch and dinner weekdays, and including breakfast on weekends.\u00a0 They even offer meatballs and red gravy for brekky<\/span>!<\/span><\/strong>
