{"id":4654,"date":"2010-12-13T10:02:21","date_gmt":"2010-12-13T18:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=4654"},"modified":"2010-12-13T10:02:21","modified_gmt":"2010-12-13T18:02:21","slug":"sausage-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=4654","title":{"rendered":"Sausage Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cooked up a mess o sausages yesterday, including a couple varieties I picked up from <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=4598\"><strong>Sheridan Fruit Company <\/strong><\/a><strong>last week.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Their black pepper garlic pork sausage is a medium grind with bold flavor.\u00a0 In the photo of the cut sausages, it&#8217;s the one on the far right, you can see the flecks of pepper in it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The second sausage from Sheridan was their mild (&#8216;sweet&#8217;) Italian, which was very good as well.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a finer grind, has a nice fennel and herb flavor without being alarming.\u00a0 In the pic, it&#8217;s on the left.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our final sausage of the morning was llama &#8220;polish sausage.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 This was a medium grind as well, with a variety (I suspect) of dried peppers in it, gave it a little heat, which didn&#8217;t mask the flavor, check it out as the middle sausage on the board, with the red tint coming from a dash of cayenne or a dollop of paprika.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The most &#8216;exotic&#8217; sausage we stuff at home, are ones full of seafood, with cilantro, wine, and lemon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you like to adventure eat, game sausages are an easy way to start!<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4655\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4655\" style=\"width: 448px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/sausage6png.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4655 \" title=\"Llama sausage, Garlic Sausage, Sweet Italian Sausage\" src=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/sausage6png.png\" alt=\"Llama sausage, Garlic Sausage, Sweet Italian Sausage\" width=\"448\" height=\"315\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4655\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Llama sausage, Garlic Sausage, Sweet Italian Sausage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cooked up a mess o sausages yesterday, including a couple varieties I picked up from Sheridan Fruit Company last week.
