Well, it’s the 4th of July weekend, still, so I fired up the Weber for bonus dogs and corn on the cob.\u00a0\u00a0 Corn, 2 for a buck?\u00a0 When I lived in Iowa, it was about $3 a bushel – at a roadside stand, on the “honor system.”\u00a0\u00a0 No matter, these were delicious, soaked them in water for 30 minutes before 20 minutes on the grill, turning them every couple minutes.\u00a0 That sad looking sausage is left over from y’day’s breakfast.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The dogs are, once again, Oscar Mayer Beef, only because with a coupon yday they were 99 cents, couldn’t pass them up.\u00a0\u00a0 That’s cheaper than chicken dogs.\u00a0\u00a0 And Nathan’s Skinless were about $6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Which I would have paid, had they had casings!<\/p>\n
