The past months have been spent on site at a Pacific NW (US) industrial services company, in the B2B category. \u00a0My role was to analyze the company, recommend growth strategies, and identify outside financing sources.<\/p>\n
Within ninety days for starting to look for money, I was able to locate and bring to the table five solid expressions of interest, including three actual LOIs, from parties ready, willing, and able to do a deal. Three were private equity groups, one a strategic buyer, one a combination of equity\/debt.<\/p>\n
While searches for investors isn’t ever the easiest task, this makes four straight transactions were I have “shown them the money!” with 2-3 months after beginning my search.<\/p>\n
I’ve perfected my methods and rolodex over the past twenty years. \u00a0I only take on a couple of assignments in this realm annually, and they are usually associated with on or off site advisory services.<\/p>\n
