{"id":24472,"date":"2009-06-10T08:25:49","date_gmt":"2009-06-10T15:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hamburgersaremylife.wordpress.com\/?p=21"},"modified":"2009-06-10T08:25:49","modified_gmt":"2009-06-10T15:25:49","slug":"atlanta-ga-central-city-tavern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=24472","title":{"rendered":"Atlanta, GA &#8211; Central City Tavern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anytime a restaurant stewardess tells me \u201cSure, y\u2019all can substitute tater tots for fries\u201d,\u00a0 I\u2019m happier than a pig who\u2019s been rejected for the BBQ pit.\u00a0\u00a0 Central City Tavern was no except;\u00a0 while they offered a variety of semi-uniquely decorated burgers, I opted for the blue cheese, which had a nice mix of dressing and seriously chunky real blue cheese.\u00a0\u00a0 Most curiously, bacon was NOT an add-on, in fact, there was no bacon on the menu at all.\u00a0\u00a0 Non-distinctive bun, fine, just nothing special.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great burger, not in my top 10, but certainly the best burger I had in Atlanta that day.
