A non-descript place serving non-descript food. I was there at 1PM on a weekday, and was the only one in the dining room for half my visit – then in came a father with three kids in tow. The only reason for my visit was I was wasting time waiting on an appointment, the place wasn’t a specific destination, so I didn’t have any preconceived notions about what I would be eating.<\/p>\n

The attached bar, on the other hand, was hoppin’ for weekday noon, and had free peanuts to boot (I didn’t discover until I was leaving). My server went thru the motions of his job with zero enthusiasm. <\/p>\n

I ordered a cheeseburger plain, which came with fries. Standard food service burger, standard food service fries. Burger and Diet Pepsi, $10, a little pricey for the environment and neighborhood. Glancing at other reviews online, they run hot\/cold, depending upon one’s palate I guess. There are people that say the place has great Tex-Mex, others aren’t so generous, and call it plain awful.<\/p>\n

Guess I’d land in the middle. It is what it is. And what it is, to me, is not worth returning to.<\/p>\n
