I think I have a different definition of &#8220;dives&#8221; than many people.  I think a place doesn&#8217;t qualify as a dive unless it&#8217;s in a neighborhood you are currently, or used to be, afraid to enter.  That&#8217;s my rule.<\/p>\n<p>Such was the case with the Lake Street White Castle 40 years ago, such as it is today.
