Sorry. The restaurant&#8217;s website has quite a few <a href=\"http:\/\/barcelonanola.com\/food-gallery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">food photos<\/a>. \u00a0 Found this place on a walk in uptown, and returned later for a dinner, and (spoiler) it was superb. \u00a0I&#8217;ve travel Spain and the rest of Europe, and my spawn has spent a significant time in Spain, and we both loved the Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>In act, up to this point, the best tapas I have consumed were not actually in Spain, but Amsterdam at <a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2010\/02\/amsterdam-nl-joselitos-tapas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joselito<\/a>, where we were so enthused we ordered the entire menu.<\/p>\n<p>With most small plates at Barcelona costing $5-$6, you can order a whole bunch of food to share and enjoy; \u00a0the also offer cooked to order paella, with the traditional rice base, and a variation featuring angel hair pasta. \u00a0They also have some entrees, and the whole <a href=\"http:\/\/barcelonanola.com\/menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">menu is online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We tried a variety of hot and cold tapas and loved them all. \u00a0My favorites were the ones featuring Jamon Serrano, and I liked his version of Patatas with aioli drizzle.<\/p>\n<p>If you live in New Orleans, you&#8217;ll find Barcelona a nice change. \u00a0You can linger and sample a variety of dishes. \u00a0It&#8217;s right behind the Walgreens on Carrolton.<\/p>\n<p>Tourists can find the restaurant with a half block walk off the St. Charles streetcar, so when you get tired of deep fried seafood at high prices in the Quarter, hop on the street car and transport yourself temporarily to an evening in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/57\/1511702\/restaurant\/Carrollton\/Barcelona-Tapas-Cafe-New-Orleans\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 200px; height: 146px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/b\/link\/1511702\/biglink.gif\" alt=\"Barcelona Tapas Cafe on Urbanspoon\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>barcelona tapas bar<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was a family dinner, so there are no photos.
