Not many do, here&#8217;s as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gardenersnet.com\/vegetable\/statevegetable.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">complete a list<\/a> as we have found.<\/p>\n<p>While the onions can only be grown in a small geographical area, products with their flavoring can be made anywhere, by anybody, as long as they meet certain content requirements. \u00a0One can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vidaliaonion.org\/about_us\/buy_vidalia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">order the onions<\/a> or said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vidaliaonion.org\/about_us\/buy_products\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">products online<\/a>, of course.<\/p>\n<p>There are any number of co-packers or contract manufacturers willing to slap your \u00a0store or establishment name on their Vidalia onion product, and one that I picked up was from an <a href=\"http:\/\/allseasonsorchard.com\/farm-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Illinois farm product store<\/a>, &#8220;Vidalia Onion Cucumber Dill&#8221; Salad Dressing.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients include: \u00a0Soybean oil, Cucumbers, Water, Vidalia Onions, Cane Sugar, Vinegar, Egg Yolk, spices and preservatives, and comes in a 12 oz bottle.<\/p>\n<p>The onion flavor is pronounced, and the dill subtle. \u00a0For my taste, reversing those would be better. \u00a0It&#8217;s very creamy tho, and will certainly please many. \u00a0Vidalia Onion products are here to stay, not sure we can say the same for siracha and chipotle. \u00a0One hopes not.<\/p>\n<p>I eat fair amount of salad, especially with garden grown ingredients, and no matter how many different flavors are rolled out, my favorite dressing is still <a href=\"http:\/\/www.litehousefoods.com\/products\/chunky-bleu-cheese\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vidalia Onion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before there was &#8220;siracha&#8221; and &#8220;chipotle&#8221; everything, \u00a0there was Vidalia Onion everything. \u00a0Vidalia onions are sweet, and grown in certain areas of the U.S. state of Georgia, only. \u00a0It has been Georgia&#8217;s official state vegetable for 25 years. \u00a0Who knew states had official vegetables?
