There was never any definite cause of death. \u00a0Could have been like a wind-up toy, she just ran down. \u00a0Or like a jaded actress, she felt the role was played out. \u00a0Or the two liter bottle of gin in\u00a0an afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The scariest scenario, one that&#8217;s probably more true than not, is that she was a figment of one of our imaginations, trying to be someone way outside of her comfort zone, and far too far away from her roots. \u00a0FYI, gutter punks and silver spooners don&#8217;t ever mesh.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever. \u00a0I do miss the person she never got to be, the person I thought she was. \u00a0She hated this time of year,which she described as &#8220;two weeks of over drinking, over eating, and one other thing&#8221; which I can&#8217;t discuss here, (unfortunately, it never involved me) as this site has a family rating. \u00a0And today is her birthday. \u00a0Or at least she said it was, no way of knowing whether that was true or not, most things she said weren&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a tough time of year for me, because it&#8217;s also around the date some years ago I fell in love with the one who got away. \u00a0My practical but elegant little Texas cowgirl.<\/p>\n<p><em>You see, she was gonna be an actress,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>And I was gonna learn to fly.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>She took off to find the footlights,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>And I took off to find the sky.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mrs BurgerDogBoy Death<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Life imitates art. \u00a0Art imitates life?
