I love them plain, stuffed, sliced, diced, Spanish, Greek, Californian&#8230;. I eat them au natural, I use them as condiments and toppings on pizza, burgers, in salads&#8230;.I&#8217;ve even cured my own, at home, a couple of times.  That was rewarding, but the &#8220;wait&#8221; was torture!<\/p>\n<p>So I have a need for sliced olives on occasion, and while it&#8217;s easy to find sliced black, there aren&#8217;t many companies or stores that stock sliced green olives on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I could slice my own, or buy those crushed, shredded things they call &#8220;salad olives&#8221;, but I like a nice, symmetrical, clean sliced product.<\/p>\n<p>I was therefore quite delighted when a local grocery offered them on a recent special. I was able to return to the store three times and stock up properly!\u00a0\u00a0 The brand name is Napoleon, and looking them up online, I see they have a long history and make quite a few products.\u00a0 <strong>Their sliced greens, which are Spanish in origin, are about as good as you can get, in my opinion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.napoleon-co.com\/pages\/product_pages\/product_list.html\">The product line is listed here<\/a>,\u00a0 and if you can&#8217;t find these in your local stores, some of their products are available on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/search\/ref=sr_nr_p_4_0?rh=n%3A16310101%2Cn%3A!16310211%2Ck%3ANapoleon%2Cp_4%3ANapoleon&amp;bbn=16310101&amp;keywords=Napoleon&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1254424940&amp;rnid=203034011\">Amazon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve laid in a supply for the winter, and asked the company where I can find the product regularly, nearby.\u00a0\u00a0 I may just have to make another three or four trips!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/napoleon-olives.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1265\" title=\"napoleon olives\" src=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/napoleon-olives.jpg\" alt=\"napoleon olives\" width=\"357\" height=\"539\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love olives.
