{"id":11491,"date":"2014-05-06T17:41:25","date_gmt":"2014-05-07T00:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/?p=11491"},"modified":"2014-05-06T17:41:25","modified_gmt":"2014-05-07T00:41:25","slug":"duluth-mn-farleys-family-restaurant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.peterstromquist.com\/?p=11491","title":{"rendered":"Duluth, MN &#8211; Farleys Family Restaurant Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long a Duluth favorite, located on the way out of town in the adjacent burg of Hermantown, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.farleysfamilyrestaurant.com\/index2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Farley&#8217;s Family Restauran<\/a>t serves burgers, pizza, hot dogs and other casual fare.<\/p>\n<p>Eager to expand their own universe and introduce their food to a larger base, they set about to open a downtown Duluth location, and found the perfect spot in a building formerly occupied by another local burger favorite, <a href=\"http:\/\/burgersdogspizza.com\/2010\/05\/duluth-mn-nicks-burger-king-revival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mr. Nicks Charburger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although the eastern part of downtown has become a burgeoning restaurant mecca, the western side has been a little lacking, and Farley&#8217;s thinks they can make a go of it, staying open late, and offering local delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Kawika and the Minnesota Burger Posse were there shortly after the soft opening, and unfortunately, didn&#8217;t have many kind words.
